As winter approaches, major power plants begin to stock coal for winter. China Railway Taiyuan Group Co., Ltd., by optimizing its transport organization, improving its transport efficiency, and reducing the impact of centralized repair on transport of Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway, has made every effort to ensure the coal transport in winter.
Since mid-October, coal production enterprises have stabilized their output and released their production capacity to guarantee coal supply, and the coal demand of power plants have become stronger, leading to the rising daily demand for freight wagons. In view of the impact of 180-minute centralized repair on transport of Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway every day, China Railway Taiyuan Group Co., Ltd. has organized dispatching and construction departments to accurately prepare construction plans and transport plans to improve locomotive operation level and ensure rapid movement of trains after “maintenance window”, and to optimize the “maintenance window” of Liucun South Station by keeping power supply of OCL, thus improving the car unloading capacity of the station. From October 11 to 18, China Railway Taiyuan Group Co., Ltd. registered a daily car loading (C80 wagon) of 122 on Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway under its administration, an increase of 5 from the previous month. The stock coal in Qinhuangdao Port has risen again from 4.8 million tons to over 5 million tons.
